💛 Adjusting to New Actives

If you’re trying Golden Glow Elixir for the first time and notice a few breakouts or bumps, don’t panic — it could just be your skin adjusting!

Golden Glow is rich in bakuchiol (a gentle retinol alternative) and rosehip seed oil, both of which support healthy skin turnover. That means they can bring clogged pores to the surface faster in the first couple of weeks — a process known as purging.

This is totally normal for some skin types, especially if you’re new to active oils. If irritation or breakouts persist longer than a couple of weeks, try using it every other night or doing a patch test.

Always apply to clean, damp skin and follow up with moisturizer if needed 💛
